Well the weather outside is hardly frightful! In fact it is pushing 75 today. I am, of course, not complaining, I love it. But the Northern California girl in me, loves a little “weather”. During a long trip home, I fell in love with all the gorgeous coats. With no need for one (I’ve worn the same coat 4 times in the last 6 years), I thought I would “window shop.”
On my cold weather wish list:
Reformation’s Raven Coat, $498
Oh, Reformation, how I love you! This gorgeous number is made from dead stock materials, eliminating the thousands of yards of fabric go to waste from fashion houses that over-ordered. Yes!
Wrap up in elegance in Indigenous’s Chunky collared Coat. Ethically made using free range baby alpaca yarn and organic cotton knit collar. This is what winter dreams are made of!
Using their Footprint Chronicle, shoppers are able to track Patagonia’s ethical commitment. The Better Jacket is made ethically in Taiwan with fabrics that are bluesign® approved as well as fabrics created with environmentally conscious processes.
Vaute Couture’s Emily is designed in Brooklyn and made with lots of love using recycled fibers. Bright, cozy and about as ethical as they come!
